I actually refuse to buy their consumer software
Since they started putting in Product Activation, which provides me NO benefit and only complicates things.

There are alternatives without it, and I use them.

Just like I dumped TurboTax 2 years ago and won't go back.

When will they learn...

The only company that can get away with this is Micosoft because they have total monopolies on their software.
