script kiddies and windows vs Linux
Not only are the script kiddies probably using Windows and have those dev tools, but if you wanted to get the general public to click on your attachment, do you think you would send out a Windows worm or Linux? Since Linux is mostly datacenter servers or geeks, would they be likely to get infected? I have been using both Windows and Linux for years and have never gotten a virus or worm. Why??? Because as an IT professional, I am smart enough to keep anti-virus running and updated, plus NOT click on attachments just because they are there.

If we place Linux on 80% of PC's globally, I can assure you that SK would hit them just as hard.
