- Animosity for Apple??? Get real.
-
So OK, no doubt there are a few people out there who are peculiar and actually do have an animosity directly at Apple. Why I am not sure as I haven't heard or seen Apple do anything quite that bad that it should make someone actually hate the company, but I have to imagine there is someone who might feel that way for some reason.
I think that what you do see is quite a few people who are fed up with many Mac users who rebuff and refute every single flaw ever found in an Apple product. Typically they then justify their ludicrous stance by profoundly claiming they realize that a Mac or OSX is not perfect, its just the flaw thats currently being discussed that is a pack of lies. If you then point out that the Mac user making the claims is an apologist you are told you are making a strawman argument because they are not claiming a Mac is perfect, just the current claim of a flaw is either bogus or overblown.
Yet those same Apple users are quite willing to jump all over any flaw reported in a Windows product even if it is the most minor or insignificant kind of flaw. They usually are more then willing to share their Windows horror stories and how awful Windows products are and just how lousy Microsoft is as a company generally. They often make claims of Microsoft practically brainwashing the vast majority of society and if you dare tell them Windows is a better product for your purposes they respond as if you have lost your mind or you just don't have a clue in the world.
So dont go thinking that the kind of negative commentary you see from many Windows users to many Apple users means that we hate Apple for some reason; thats more like how the Apple user typically feels about Microsoft. We just get sick to death of Apple users shoving it in our face every time there is a Windows flaw reported and then ignoring and nay saying every Apple flaw thats reported. And then having the nerve to then say in the same breath that they recognize Apple and OSX is not perfect. - Posted by: Cayble Posted on: 01/28/07 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
