Mac for free?
No offense, because I don't mean this as a personal criticism, but that's one of the most stupid posts I've read here (and there are many).

You won't buy a Mac because you don't like Steve Jobs? I assume you know him personally, because what you see on TV or in the media is not always the real person. You go to Wendy's? Dave Thomas wasn't the nice, down to earth guy you saw in the commercials. He was a hard headed businessman who apparently ignored his wife and kids. What does that have to do with hamburgers? Nothing. What does your perception of Steve Jobs have to do with Macs and OSX? Nothing.

"Overpriced and underpowered" Hmm. It's been shown a lot recently that Macs are cheaper than comperably equipped PCs. If you mean that Apple doesn't sell a cheap stripped computer, then you're right. Underpowered? Aren't Macs powered by the same Intel chips that high end PCs use? Or aren't you aware that Apple started using Intel chips?

What would you do with a Mac? "The answer is, simply, nothing." Well, I do spreadsheets, work with databases, CAD work, multi track music editing, as well as email and keeping my calendar and addresses up to date. I'm sure you'd be able to do that, too.
