Microsoft is investigating it and will issue a patch if needed. You must have missed that part. Also, it is limited in scope and ZDNet is making a big deal out of nothing. Just because there is a maybe might possible have a very slim chance of being affected by this doesn't mean you automatically will. It takes user participation too to exploit this. Plus with antivirus software to catch it its pretty much a done deal.
