How about non Americans ?
I'm a UK citizen, Green card holder, been living in the US since 1980. I have a State Drivers License and Social Security card but do not have a US Birth Certificate. It seems to me that I would need some sort of ID card to open a bank account, so what would they give me and how would I get it ? If I were to use my original UK Birth Certificate how the heck would some poor clerk at the DMV know if it was real or not ?

I would bet that most of the terrorists that this bill is supposedly aimed at are also not American born. So, they bring in a fake Birth Certificate and get their ID card. Wonderful.

This stupid act does nothing more than give the US Government more ability to spy on it's own law abiding citizens. The evil doers will simply bypass the whole fiasco by using forged papers.

Personally I have gone back and forth over the idea of becoming a naturalized US citizen. Insane bills like this from lunatics in Government stop me cold in my tracks. The corruption and depravity of these people makes me want to vomit.

At least I have the ability to leave, although the UK is not exactly a beacon of democracy nowadays either. What a screwed up world we now live in.
