I've had no problems with Windows or Linux either
your level of satisfaction seems to be in the extreme minority.

Everyone I know can say the same about Windows too. No problems and certainly so scrambling to install things like Parallels and Bootcamp to get simple Windows apps to work.

http://forum.parallels.com/archive/index.php/t-380.html
However, I am slightly alarmed by several posts indicating that a parallels crash led to the destruction of other installed apps. One post indicated that the contents of the Safari.app bundle were erased after a parallels crash. A recent post indicated that Mail.app was corrupted by a parallels crash.

Damn, I'm glad that I don't have to install any special apps that mess up my computer to run Windows programs!

Cost effective? Why pay and wait for years for Windows to have the features the Mac OS has had?

What does this have to do with anything being cost effective? It isn't like people paid for Vista 5 years ago and had to wait until now to get it. The only thing that OSX has over XP is transparent Window frames. Yippee!! I'm just glad I didn't have to wait 7 years to get restricted rights accounts and proper multithreading. Yup, that's how long Apple customers had to wait for those things considering Windows has had them since 1993 and Apple only got them in 2000. Keep your transparent window frames, I'll take better security and stability thank you very much!
