You're absolutely correct! If everybody ran Linux, there would also be no war or famine, nor greed or hunger! The power of Linux would have opened the doors for intergalactic travel and the exchange of knowledge with extraterestrials by now.
No one would ever have cracked a Mac or Linux machine as that would mean that these OS's were created by man and not the Gods themselves!
