- Problem: Microsoft. Solution: GNU/Linux.

If people just used Linux and not Windows, there wouldn't be anywhere near the number of security problems that we have now. Botnets probably wouldn't even be a recognized word. Microsoft, like many other American engineering firms, makes money by delivering crap and charging for fix services. Each security hole is an opportunity for Microsoft to make money by charging for fixes that otherwise will continue to damage the consumer. The problem is that Microsoft isn't as smart as educated software engineers that do the job right, and so there's a lot more money to make for underpaid software programmers in using Microsoft's fraud extortion leverage for themselves. Software programmers are extremely valuable. I don't care if George Bush promotes the outsourcing of software work to keep our pay down in America. Our power extends far beyond the ability of a paycheck to return us for our services in US Dollars.
