"Stay-Safe Door Locks LTD" announced today that those customers forced to upgrade to Door-Lock ver 9, by dint of the EULA they agreed to in ver 8, can be assured that Door-Lock ver 9 is the most secure version of Door-Lock ever to be licensed, at least since the previous version, which was almost the most secure.

However users of Door-Lock 9 are advised that security guards will still be needed to stand in front of any door protected by Door-Lock 9, if that door is to be really, Really, REALLY secure, and the cost of this extra security must be added onto the TCO of Door-Lock 9. Luckily for Stay-Safe Door-Locks LTD, the EULA their end users are required to sign before being allowed to license the product, absolves them of any and all accountability, should a Door-Lock 9 ever be compromised.

"Me, bank, laughing all the way to", quipped a Door-Lock executive earlier today. "Monopoly? We couldn't pull a stunt like this without it", he added, before boarding a plane for Europe, where more secure alternatives are being touted at much reduced cost.
