It's really a critical "Internet Explorer" flaw
Although IE is an integrated feature of Windows and cannot be removed, technically the VML problem is a flaw in Windows. However, those using non-Microsoft web browsers are not at risk. The only browser that supports VML files is IE, so only IE users are at risk.

As the article points out, a patch is currently available. IE users should apply the patch.
