AntiVirus=Performance Penalty
The latest round of McAfee products are better than they were even a year ago. I've been using McAfee since it was shareware back in the days of MS-DOS and nobody does it better. I've used CA, Norton and others... McAfee is still the King in my book.

Don't forget that XP isn't the most efficient OS Microsoft ever wrote either. Vista may be worse. In the end, there are no free lunches... AntiVirus=Performance Penalty. It's an unfortunate fact of life.
