The President (and the Congressmen and Senators who proposed and supported this bill too) are absolutely useless idiots.
We already had fraud laws on the books making this practice illegal. So any new law is redundant.
And exempting law enforcement was a back door way to allow them to snoop on you anytime they want without a warrant. Welcome to Fascist America.
A clear cut case of lawmakers passing a law only to make themselves look good by being able to say, "Look what we did to make you safer!"
