Think people
OK so the FBI sends you an email. I'd suspicous just at the fact that FBI sent me an email. Now they want personal information? This is the FBI isn't it? What personal information could they possibly want that they can't already access. I don't know if any of you have seen the info in those law enforcement databases but they could probably give me personal information about myself that I don't know about. Next where's the officer and his/her badge. I don't see it so right there that tells me this is bogus.

Now the hitman emailing you about being hired to kill you but will forego it if you pay him a couple thousand dollars. First thing I'd do is contact the police about this email and they'd tell me it's a scam. Also technically the criminal here is commiting two crimes. One if fraud and the other is attempted murder and the intent is proven by the email. Talk about an idiot. At the least they can get him for uttering death threats and fraud which is even more time than fraud alone. Heck why not label him a dangerous offender as he planned to kill every person he sent the email to after all. That way you could lock him for life.

So who'd fall for this crap? Think people! Use your brain.

I can understand a scam playing off a person greed but this playing off people's stupidity.

I guess though it you send out 1 million emails 1% give $1000 each that's still netting you a million dollars profit. May there are just enough morons out thier to make up 1%.
