Why no class action?

When these much-hyped bugs are exposed, some of them purporting to be zero-
day exploits, why are the "security experts" (malicious hackers in drag) not liable
for their maliciousness? To expose a flaw without notifying the software company
first is sheer bloody-minded irresponsibility, and all members of the affected class
can therefore sue these slimeballs for every penny they have. And their rooting
section in various branches of the tech press would be jointly and severally liable
as well.

Show me the flaw in this logic.

And it doesn't matter where the flaws are exposed. Windows, Mac, doesn't matter.

I remember some more responsible people who notified MS and waited six
months, with no fix arriving. They then exposed the flaw and wrote a fix for it.
This is reputable behavior.

In this case, it seems that some tech writers, the Washington Post and CNet for
starters, do hate Apple enough that they give ink, or electrons, to these dregs of
humanity. They're the equivalent of the profiteering papparazzi of the computer
world. Nice pix of Britney's thang, idiots.
