Pocket full of Fobs
So, by next year, I'll have password fobs for Paypal, my bank, my online stock brokerage, my corporate access, blah, blah, .....

Seems like VeriSign should be making a universal fob that any company can use to validate login/password. A unique serial number for each fob would be supplied to a web site so that subsequent access required the 6-digit fob number.

So who wants to keep looking at a tiny lcd screen on the fob to read and enter the 6-digit number every time you access your protected web sites? Why not make it a USB fob so that the number can be read automatically by the login code?

Maybe add a gig of flash so you could carry unrelated files around, with the files encrypted and unlocked by entering the keyfob password?

Surely some company sees the possibilities now before we are all stuck with tens of fobs to carry around!
