Everyday must be slow for Safari...
I used an eMac with 0SX tonight and did my best to install an Airport ripoff into it for a lady. I don't know if the Mac had issues or the wireless adapter, but that thing was gruesome to set up. No doubt, I'm not adjusted to that OS, but from every single standpoint it seemed so much more clumsy than Windows. And the keyboard felt really cheap... Diddo for the mouse. Anyway, I used Internet Explorer at first and decided to give Safari a try... Seemed like it was a bit slower...a LOT slower. So far, my experience with Macs hasn't been too impressive. I'm not knocking it down, though... I wouldn't mind having one to use. But what I DON'T understand is why people say they are the best thing since sliced bread. And I know that computer could forget gaming. ...The onboard speakers were not even as impressive as my laptops's and there was no digital audio out (was there?) What REALLY makes the Mac so great?
