If the iPhone is as big of a deal as everyone thinks
Then Cisco probably wants to partner with Apple and this is a bargaining chip.
Cisco's iPhone is not the same type of phone as Apple's iPhone. Apple seems to
think there's enough distinction, similar to the Apple vs Apple Corp. case. I don't
think this is as big of a deal as everybody thinks or else Apple would have named
it the Apple Phone or something like that which would have as much name
recognition as iPhone. Still, who knows? With this type of thing Apple may have
wanted the free publicity even if it's negative, which kept the iPhone in the news
after the Steve Jobs Distortion Field has worn off.

I'm a big Mac fan, but Steve Jobs is a super salesman and while he doesn't lie in
his presentations, he definitely gives you only the positive side of the products he
demoes and makes them look really really good, so there really is a Reality
Distortion Field but it's not as great as the anti-Mac people would have you
believe.
