- I tried the update ... 7.09 and for me, it's a disastor. There seems to be a major glitch in the front end which just crashes the application. I've cleaned out my Adobe Reader program files, rebooted numerous times and even waited two days for a 'more current' update. Still crashes. I've been waiting for a response from Adobe but ... still waiting. I'd hold off for a bit before you update to the newest version (8.0) or the final update for 7 -
