Though it may not be the most secure Windows ever
Symantec would without fail express their 'concern' that Window's users would feel no need to purchase their Antivirus and Firewall software. By the very nature of the business that Symantec operates, they need platforms insecure and vulnerable to make a profit, . . they need 1st time purchases of their new products and subscription fees or brokered site wide fees for continual profit of that 1st investment, to somehow entice experienced users to buy their next and next upgrades and not defect to competitive, existing products while maintaining a profitable bottomline.

The Symantec, and most other commercial AV makers, messege will always be, there is a need for us, no matter. Just color yourselves surprised they haven't come up with a reason to make an iPod AV product (maybe they're waiting for it to go WiFi, or treat it like Symbian, when it goes iPhone), or push for a need to have a linux client. I can't wait for Symantec AV for my Plasma TV. wink
