No-Axe:
"Number one selling application for the Mac."

MS declines to release sales figures for Mac Office, but in general has stated them to be somewhat disappointing. How do you back up this statement?

Voska:
"I know about half a dozen Mac user and none of them have MS Office for MAC."
Rick_K:
"Of the 50 people, that I know (that use
Macs). Only 4 of them have MS Office on them..."

Guys, I'm sorry, but if you think that 6 people or 50 people represents a large enough sampling of Mac users to determine what is truly used in the population at large, you are wrong or you are seriously underestimating how many people have Macs.

We can all safely agree on:
1) MS develops software for the Mac
2) MS Office for the Mac sells a large number of copies

As for where the G5's are headed at MS?
Could be the graphics/marketing/publishing department; the G5 is a sweet machine and nothing beats it for that task. Could be the development department; gotta have 'em to write software for 'em, and you might as well have the latest, greatest, and fastest. Could be the O/S research department, to study what the competition is doing (does anyone here honestly think there aren't Windows machines at Apple for the same reason?). Really, though, who cares? Why is this news to anyone?

As for the guy who got fired, whoops. He violated a corporate policy and got caught. His mistake. Maybe he can get a better non-temp job at Apple.
