Why pay more for a MacBook?
http://www.macintouch.com/reliability/macbooks2.html

On average, 22% of all MacBook and MacBook Pro computers in the survey required repair. We found 27% of the original Core Duo laptops were repaired by Apple

Why, exactly, would I pay more for a Mac when 27% of all Macs need fixing? I guess we need a new slogan:
Get a Mac - Once it has been repaired, it just works... until it needs to be repaired again.

Oh, let me guess, macintouch.com hates Apple and is actually owned by Microsoft? Do I need to add macintouch.com to the list of organizations that you don't believe? Maybe it would be easier if you just told us which organizations you would believe? It doesn't sound like it could be more than one or two, especially after apple.com releases a patch for the critical quicktime vulnerability that will allow remote attackers to run code of their choosing on OSX!
