Whether or not computer users are happy about the release of exploits for the system they use, it's going to keep on happening. Seems to me the question is this - if a couple of self-appointed bug-hunters can find the time to find flaws in post-released products, why can't the VV&T people at the affected software houses do the same?? Are they not paid to test and validate their companies products? Neither Apple nor Microsoft come out of exercises like this looking good. Quality can't be tested into a product but most of these exploits rely on a few tried and trusted vectors (such as buffer overflow).
