My bread and butter too
MacGeek,
I make my living on Macs too. Not just with a couple of private, home-users
diddling around with Solitaire, but with medical professionals, graphic artists,
publishers, and many others who make THEIR living, just like you, directly with
their computers. I know they wouldn't part with them for ANYTHING. They've even
waited 6 years for viable replacements for their pre-OS X software that predates
most MS apps BUT STILL WORKS well enough to justify NOT going to a MS
product.

SO, I understand fully well where you're coming from. AND, I too am dismayed by
the dissing of a system that is proven in many venues to be profitable, easily
maintainable, and RELATIVELY trouble-free. I have lost potential business because
of the disinformation and misinformation circulated by those who, like any bigot,
want to believe that their way is the ONLY way and all other choices should be
eliminated. To twist the old Michelob commercial a bit, "they're afraid of the dark"
and need someone to show them there's nothing to fear.
