I thought i was the only one here that realized XP is a fully capable OS without all that many issues. Over the long term, and my machine is a laptop around 4 to 5 years old, I've had no hardware issues (thank you Toshiba!!) and no problems with XP to speak of. When I replaced Office 2000 w/2003 I had a some cleanup work that ticked me off but it wasn't something horrible and it was my fault. I took the upgrade path. I do NOT know what I was thinking.
I didn't say I have any problems with iTunes. Just note how much RAM they use on an XP machine. iTunes pushes 100MB on mine. That was really all i was saying. A program such as iTunes doesn't need that much baggage in my mind. It's web based and should have a very small footprint and not a monster one. The rest was just having fun really. I admit that. Sorry if that bothered you.
