To get a bunch of people on here sniping each other makes for more hits and it
helps with the advertising revenue. I wish it were different and I'm to blame as
much as anyone.

I have nothing against Windows users who usually know little about Macintosh and
don't really care one way or another, but I don't like my favorite platform being
slammed daily by people who haven't a clue about Macintosh, Quicktime or
anything else other than how to get to Solitare on a PC. Most Windows users don't
really care one way or another about Macintosh, but they hear all the FUD and
many believe a lot of it. Some Windows users may even be thinking of switching
and are curious about Macintosh, but to read some of these articles and
comments you would think that OSX has as many security problems as Windows
and it's just not true.

There are a small minority of Windows users who slam every other operating
system. Linux users receive the same treatment and respond similarly. I just
wonder what these people would think if no competition existed. Microsoft would
be using DOS 32.1 and computers would cost $10,000 minimum with Microsoft
getting the lionshare of the profits. To have the freedom to choose operating
systems and hardware alternatives helps everyone including and especially
Windows users.
