... uh, yeah. I use WMV. It's SO useful and reliable and never, ever has problems.
And since I started using Win XP, I don't have to worry about my programs
hogging RAM, the OS uses most of it anyway, so I don't have much left for
something else to run on!

Now, is my response to xuniL_z useful? Probably not and I find it interesting that
most users are reluctant, afraid, or whatever to use their real names. Obviously,
anonimity makes it easy to say things without recourse. It makes it easy to shirk
responsibility and accountability, two behaviors that identify adults.

Why is this a forum for sniping and one-upsmanship? It makes me wonder why ZD
doesn't require a maturity test to sign up as a user of this tool. Unfortunately, they
don't, so like whisperycat and RicD_ point out, people like Loverock and
NonZealot, simply spew garbage to goad on the useless childlike battle of "we're
better than you are". I'm sure there are people who are Mac users who exhibit the
same baseless, unsupported, escalating behaviors, so don't get me wrong: one
side is no better than the other in this pointless activity. And the immature
behavior exhibited here will NOT make the "enemy" go away any more than it will
stop the behavior of the malicious agents who try to make life difficult for
everyone, whether they use Windows, Linux, or Mac.

What RicD_ suggested is that this forum could be used in a way that MIGHT even
have been ZD's original intent: to have a collection of intellectual contributions
which serve a useful purpose in finding solutions to problems. I rarely come here
because I've found it so useless beyond the actual report that comes out (some of
those aren't really very useful either and probably are just published to "make
news").

I don't have time to read all the immature noise that's occupies the majority of the
space here. I'm sure that some of the crap that is displayed here is actually an
embarrassment to the management of ZD (if they even pay any attention
anymore). If they were looking for debate, I don't think they were interested in the
kind that 5-year olds have. If only we could all keep things on a mature level with
responsibility and accountability so that the moderator didn't have to turn around
and growl "Don't make me come back there..."
