It's not funny at all. I take the supreme law of the land seriously and I have contempt for those who are derelict in their duty to protect and defend the Constitution.
Where your assupmtions are wrong are in the fact that I respect the institution of the SCOTUS I also realize that Supreme Court Justices are humans and are subject to the same political pressures (among others) as any other person.
The Constitution is not a hard document to understand. There are countless laws on the books that clearly contradict the Constitution yet are upheld when challenged. SCOTUS' decisions should not be made on precedence or for that matter on what supports the social good. They should be made strictly according to the mandates of the Constitution.
