Don't believe everything Gartner says
For some reason Gartner seems to think Vista SP1 is coming in 2008. Microsoft has not set a specific date, but has said it is targeting it for the second half of 2007. More specifically, they've said Longhorn Server is coming in the second half of 2007, and since Longhorn Server == Vista SP1, we can expect Vista SP1 then too.
