who may use your personal info to do the most damage to you, criminals, or the government.
This is about encryption of a home computer, so if they were to think someone a terrorist, they would still come regardless of what is a person's PC (or even if they did not own a PC) as it has no bearing on why the police are there to begin with (as how could they access your computer).
If you have nothing to hide, I'm sure you would be more then happy to give the police access to your personal system as it would show that you are not involved in anything nefarious.
I am all for less government intrusion in our lives, with "privacy" more as a practice then a word.
There will allways be some people in the position of power that will abuse those said powers, but unfortunately, we have given all the criminals all the tools needed to abuse us, while taking away from police many of the tools needed to protect us. - Posted by: GuidingLight Posted on: 12/19/06 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
