Thankyou for Linux, Open Office, and FireFox
Microsoft has to do SUSE Linux if it wants to do enterprise.

http://www.novell.com/linux/ has a link to the Novell & Microsoft Interoperability Web Seminar on the 19th. You register via http://register.novell.com/listings/?id=85 . The Virtualize Windows on Linux, or Linux on Windows subject is to be covered.

There are compelling reasons owing to hardware to at least investigate the Windows on Linux strategy. Because Linux is open source, hardware vendors can update the operating system faster than Microsoft can ever hope for with its Windows OS products.

We can refer to Linux, Open Office, and FireFox as Microsoft products because Microosoft is distributing and marketing these products to its partners and customers. I think this goes beyond EU politics. Oracle and IBM also distribute and market a Linux package. Microsoft shareholders are best served by Microsoft doing the same. I do not think Microsoft able to get over the perception of not scaling well with out SUSE Linux, which includes Open Office and FireFox. If I remember Microsoft has already purchased 350,000 copies which are promissed to be distributed to partners and customers making Microsoft one of the larger resellers of Linux, Open Office and Fire Fox.
