I highly suspect the idea that all recipients of their ?r@? consented to it barraging their mailboxes. I can't imagine any sane non-minor consenting to the idea that anyone can sell their email address for the purpose of generating messages from companies they've never heard of.

Also, the argument that someone consented to something that was buried in a 10,000-word EUL (as is so often the case for downloaded freeware) is also pretty lame.

It's amazing these clowns can sleep well, given their complete lack of ethics.
