Clueless
Phishing is a social engineering attack. It's me convincing you to do someting you normally wouldn't do.

So you bank has never even once emailed you let alone informed you that your account would be closed via email. More than likely the bank would just close you account and wait for you to arrive yelling and screaming. We know this because it happens. Yet people will hand out thier passwords to anyone pretending to be a bank in that email.

The security hole here is not the browser, it's the user. Why would they do something so silly? There is every reason not to do it but yet they still do. I doubt even IE or FF can help them, the user will still go out of thier way to give out this important information to anyone who asks for it.
