At least one firing allready
The Boeing employee who lost the lap top has apparently been fired. It appears someone in management will also get a hook. This goes beyond company policy and into criminal activity.

The Veterans Adminstration laptop was reported recovored but top management resigned anyway. I think the person who lost the laptop was a contractor. Just one more reason to bring the work inhouse.

Of course we still do not know how Microsoft's best partner HP got the SSNs needed for the theft of Cnet, WSJ and HP employee identities. Given the Veterans Administration example and what has happend at Boing and HP, I think rbooth1000 correct. Zero tolerance.
