It is amazing to me

Its amazing to me the paranoid freaks that come out of the woodwork when one of these topics comes up.
As if the government gives a crap about you? Puh-lease.
Don't be so self-important. I seriously doubt anyone important enough for the gov't to want to watch will be posting in a ZDNet forum.....

Privacy? Please explain to me how this is ANY different than a driver's license? How exactly is this going to impede your privacy?
(don't give me speculative theories, give me REAL WORLD examples)
This system is not used to determine where an unimportant worker-bee putz like ourselves is travelling....it is used so that some terrorist can't come into this country, get on an airplane and fly it into another building....but wait, you paranoid freaks probably think the gov't staged that so it is useless to try and talk to you about it....

I'll tell ya, this whole 'privacy thing' is rediculous. The only people we need privacy from are the ones that want to steal from us (credit, identity, money, etc.).
What exactly do you think the gov't is going to do to you?
At the risk of repeating myself, "THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU".

Sometimes I wonder if folks that sit in this camp would prefer the wild western days, where nobody knew who anybody was, you could make up any name you wanted, and if you didnt like the way things are being done, you shoot them.

Rediculous.
