Honestly I wouldn't mind paying more
if I got a quality assurance in exchange. I know MS Office is better than any other offering when you take price out of consideration, but when you take price into consideration, well MS Office isn't $300-$500 per copy better than OOo. And if OOo is good enough when you compare what you are getting for that extra $300-$500, then why bother with MS Office? However if I had to pay $600-$1000 more for MS Office, but I got a quality guarantee for that extra money, then it would be worth the extra money. To me anyway.
