Yup Mr Tree is great for the old Win Tech conflict of interest
We can't take what he says seriously when this conflict exist.

I was never really a Microsoft fanboy but I was supporting the Windows system. It was a tech firm with an attitude just like his that made me face that even though I was not bragging on Windows, by supporting it I was part of the problem.

One of my clients had both of us in a meeting and as soon as she mentioned that I liked Linux this idiot refused to even discuss it. Later he refused to do business with them unless I was out of the picture and wanted me totally out of the system. They were the Network admins and I was the Desktop admin.

My client called their bluff. I was working with one of their techs and he was leaving them because he used Linux and they had told him that if anyone was to ask about Linux they were not discuss it. They would not be in business if clients went to Linux because they didn't want to retrain their people.

Later I did some studying and found that this is the common way to "handle" Linux by Windows Tech firms. Oddly most were discussed by Linux users working in these firms.

That is why I say the reason Microsoft Techs think Windows is great is job security. What is silly is that many have workers that understand other OS but are forced to keep quiet about it.
