Windows is deeply flawed
Security is not an after thought. It has to implemented at design time not after the product is released.

Windows wasn't designed to be secure. It was designed for ease of use and sold as such. You have to give credit to Microsoft, they did make it easy to use. Apple wasn't secure either but they re-wrote from scratch using BSD to get a more secure system. Microsoft hasn't done that we are just using the newer version of NT Workstation with XP out there. It will be interesting to see what Longhorn actually is.
