You have a very twisted perspective ...
... of the truth.

"But a key part of every Microsoft EULA from the beginning is a disclaimer of any responsibility that the product will perform according to the representations made regarding the its usability."

First of all your misquoting what the EULA states.

""Piracy" may be "wrong", but Microsoft earned the problem and has no damned right to claim the moral high ground about anything."

Finally the old "rape victim was responsible for the rape because she dressed provocatively defense". You titled the post about arguing the "truth". I see now why you put truth in question marks since you didn't include any in your post.

"11. LIMITED WARRANTY FOR PRODUCT ACQUIRED IN
THE US AND CANADA.

Microsoft warrants that the Product will perform
substantially in accordance with the accompanying
materials for a period of ninety days from the date of
receipt.

If an implied warranty or condition is created by
your state/jurisdiction and federal or state/provincial law
prohibits disclaimer of it, you also have an implied
warranty or condition, BUT ONLY AS
TO DEFECTS DISCOVERED DURING THE PERIOD
OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY (NINETY DAYS).
AS TO ANY DEFECTS DISCOVERED AFTER THE
NINETY (90) DAY PERIOD, THERE IS NO
WARRANTY OR CONDITION OF ANY KIND.
Some states/jurisdictions do not allow limitations on how
long an implied warranty or condition lasts, so the above
limitation may not apply to you."

Even if what you had said was accurate they in practice do provide updates and patches at no cost well beyond the warranty.

"When Microsoft's guiding business philosophy is claiming for itself the right to commit fraud, it will never be trusted, it will always have an adversarial relationship with its customers, and it doesn't matter one whit in hell how many shyster lawyers and corrupt judges it can pay off to get away with it."

That next piece is a real work of deception. Where does Microsoft say in writing they have the right to commit fraud? If they did would they not be punishable by law in the jurisdiction that the offense occurred. I also love the part about the adversarial relationship too. That is not my relationship with them. Are you the spokesman for Microsoft's customers? Have you solicited all of them to find out if their relationship is adversarial? Do you have proof of them paying off judges? Wouldn't they also be prosecuted for that?
