ya know what Shady, MS hasn't shut that content down!
Try quoting a legitement news source. Here's a clue. The reason they do not spell out the name Microsoft in this dubious whitepaper is because Microsoft would sue their @$$ off for lying. This document proves nothing. Hotmail runs on Windows boxes. Nice try though and thank you for playing.

Well, well, if it wasn't true MS would sue like the dickens. The content is a mixed review, some of it works for MS to prove it can handle big apps, some of it works against MS to show the single biggest disadvantage of Windows is cost.

Read the report, if its a fake its funny how MS exec's have been publicly quoted saying the same things to big iron customers. Not sure how this memo leaked but its obvious to me its legit otherwise MS would get it removed. Care to dispute something intelligently from the document - didn't think so!

Fact of the matter is that MS likes the fact that they can point to Hotmail as a working *NIX port (most of it) because that brings the discussion down to dollars and sense at a customer considering a big Windows installation.

The fact that things in this report are overtly praising Windows and subvertly critising Windows marketing simply adds more credibility to the fact that the engineers are fighting an internal battle at MS which hurts Windows in the eyes of folks which would really like to see the product live up to its claims!
