Ridiculous!
I think you are very mistaken. I been posting for awhile now that this CAN-SPAM should address snail mail SPAM too. It is unwanted trash that fills up MY property, whether it is my trash can or my mailbox and I agree with the first person. They mail you VERY deceiving SPAM. I just love the ones that start... "You have been selected...", but they still want you to fill out the form and apply... lol. There should be a LAW that at minimum... mandates that if it is advertisement, they should mark it clearly on the outside, JUNK MAIL.

Additionally, the cost factor of postage stamp would not change if SPAM snail mail is reduced or stopped. The postal service works off of a working capital fund and if those revenues are lowered or lost, then THEY BETTER find revenues elsewhere. They have to have justification for raising the cost of service. You should learn more about how a working capital fund works.
