The sad truth is my friend...
the Republic no longer exists as it was designed by our forefathers. The democratic process is a farce. It's about money and who has the most, that is how things get approved and funded in our government.

The decline of the American empire is upon us. Many have lost the dream and drive to stand against what is happening. The country as a whole has slipped into a state of apathy. I do what I can, I communicate with my congressman when I can and even my senator. I express my displeasure with how things are being handled and how my tax dollars are being spent, and yes I cast my vote, like many others. But with the initial election of GWB, all faith in the electoral process was lost and the reallity that your vote doesn't count, unless it's backed by 6 digits or more, has set in.

There are so many lies and falsehoods within our government, how could anyone possibly believe a word that is uttered or even printed from capitol hill? The only way this will change is if the masses stand up and exercise their right to vote en mass and dictate to the government what is really important. After all the Democractic Republic of the United States was designed to be for the people by the people and the majority rules. Not the largest source of funds. And so the empire rots from within....
