To equate Ballmer saying that he ...
... believes that Linux violates Microsoft's Intellectual property to the removal of Linux as a viable alternative OS is intellectually dishonest. If Ballmer goes on to state that he believes OSX violates Microsoft's IP will it also cease to be a viable alternative OS? Is that all it takes for Microsoft to win?

Did it even occur to you that by poking fun at the zealots belief they are completely safe just because they use OSX it might serve an alternative purpose then trying to get them to switch? Maybe he just wants them to take more care or maybe he just wants them to quit being so damn smug. Is it okay with you that these same people post how insecure Windows any time there is an exploit is reported even if it is the seventh article about the same exploit? Should the whole security discussion only be OSX and Linux users complaining about Windows?
