Forget filters - Stop them at the source!!

trying to stop spam with a filter is like trying to cure cancer with a bandaid. Anti-spam companies can say, "Look at our glorious filter" but the whole time the cancer is festering beneath the surface, getting worse and worse as time goes on. Unless we find a way to stop spammers directly (arrests, beatings, hangings, etc), Spam will continue to be a fact of life that we will have to deal with using the 'DEL' key.
