Positioning to profit from terrorism
These are interesting times, as the old proverb goes. If you look around, you can see all kinds of manouvering to take advantage of an anticipated upswing in, shall we say, violence-related commerce. Companies that specialize in doing things governments are either not permitted to do or don't do as efficiently are anticipated to do swimmingly well.

So what's puzzling is why Schlumberger was willing to part with this unit, when elsewhere we see consolidation to take advantage? (viz CSC+Dyncorp...though they're having problems, I gather...) I remember reading somewhere that Schlumberger weren't doing so well; they're doing that badly?
