XP SP 2 a big part of botnets
Interesting graphic showing the composition of botnets:

http://www.eweek.com/slideshow_viewer/0,1205,l=&s=25954&a=194164&po=4,00.asp

XP SP2 is almost 50% of a botnet and between SP 1 and 2 that OS accounts for almost 70% of the machines in a botnet.

Windows 2000 on the other hand, not well represented. So it's about time an exploit came out to help Win 2000 take its rightful place among all the other insecure MSFT operating systems.
