Which just proves....
Ignorance and laziness is what drives the whole cyber-crime
industry. Stealing from a neighbor's router because that person
failed to properly secure it is one thing, but imagine what
incredible lapses and stupidity has permitted cyber-criminals to
control over four million "BOT" (all Windows PCs by the way)
computers around the world which they use for every nefarious
purpose from phishing to spam, to worm proliferation etc etc.
It's never a "great" experience to have to fix ignorance,
particularly if the person is your friend. Now tell me your
solution for those over 4 million bot-puters, or shall we leave
this one to Loverock?
