Um...
Since always. Yes they are a giant company and trying to make money. That's what for-profit companies do. But the products they deliver for both consumers and developers is of very good quality and well worth the price. Look at everything you get with their software. They release updates all the time. Some products they offer for free. All these things plus more make them a good guy and a good buy.
