Give an instance of that comprimise
"In the closed systems case, just because a patch is not released or a bug not discovered does not mean you are safe, the blackhats have loads of sploits MS knows nothing about" Give a case where a system has been comprimised due to a non annouced exploit of vunerability. Up to now I believe there hasnt been one comprimise that wasnt an allready known exploit with a patch or fix. This holds true for open source as well as proprietary OS's.
