Apology? Puh-leaze. Here's what you said - "I never, even once, suggested there wasn't a problem that needed patching. Reread my post and quote me where I said that or be a grown up and reply to this post with an apology".

Now NZ, lets not go off at semantic tangents. While you evidently didn't say that there wasn't a problem explicitly, I think my paraphrase sums up your contribution to most ZDnet discussions about Windows exploits pretty accurately. The conceptual essence of MOST of your posts (always in response to the latest Microsoft Windows specific vulnerabilities and exploits) can be summarised as "Problem? What problem? I didn't have a problem!". Thus the dear reader is expected (with constant repetition) to believe that if only every Windows user was as clever and as smart as you, there wouldn't BE a problem. Because no matter what happens, YOU never have a problem! No matter what new security exploits have to be patched, YOU never have a problem! What is your secret, do tell, please. The computing world awaits.

Incidentally, I do, and have, in the past, apologised for my genuine mistakes on ZDnet (also under Jellyclock). But in this case, even if I did owe you an apology, your ad hominem attack based on your wildly inaccurate assumptions ("Only a fool like you relies on a single layer of defense so that a vulnerability in that single layer has comprimised your entire machine.") would, in any case preclude any such apology.

By the way, have you "hardened" your PC against next month's exploits yet? What about Feb 2007? Summert 2008? Hardened up in preparation for those exploits yet?
